Embrace the Errors
"The process of growth, of improvement and progress, rather than the static culture and result, becomes the significant thing. . . Not perfection as a final goal, but the ever-enduring process of perfecting, maturing, refining the aim in living.  Honesty, industry, temperance, justice, like health, wealth, and learning are not goods to be possessed as they would be if they expressed fixed ends to be attained.  They are directions of change in the quality of experience.”
                                                                                                                                         -John Dewey (on education)

Welcome!

While this website was originally designed as a midterm portfolio for my English 1103 course.  I hope that this site will expand beyond the  boundaries of my current imagination and become a sancuarty for both personal expression and opinions.

Within "Embrace the Errors"  you will discover:

- How writing has beome more grade and goal-oriented in education and is slowly loosing its intimate technique of unique communication.

- My vision of embracing the opportunity to appreciate our "imperfections" in content or style as opportunities to learn and grow.

-Several attainable goals of mine as an author throughout the remainder of this fall 2010 semester.
